The lists of Locus Specific Mutation Databases on the HGVS website have been completely updated. We would appreciate it if any curators would let us know of any changes to URL or gene additions/deletions when you make them so the pages are kept up-to-date.
If you are a database curator and have not already done so recently, can you please look at your links and let Rania know of any errors, changes or additions.

Dr. Vassilis Tsaousis from an invitro diagnostic company if Greece is looking for samples with mutations in the CYP2C19 and TPMT genes. If anyone can help please contact Dr. Tsaoussis on tsaousis@mediconsa.com.
We have just heard from William Oetting that the HGVS now has official 501(c) 3 status instead of having an advance ruling. We can now accept those $100,000 donations all of those corporations have been holding back!

This time, this biennial course will be held in Leiden , the Netherlands .
The course will take place from 31st August to 4th September 2006 and is organised by Dr. Johan T. den Dunnen ( Leiden Genome Technology Center ).
These popular small courses aim to provide an overview of current technology and applications via a mixture of practical demonstrations, laboratory work and lectures with a combination of top-level speakers and laboratory demonstrations. Participants are from around the world.
